We are really excited about next week: pics4peaceYOUNGSTERS with a dense program at the International Book Fair in cooperation with the Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels and with the PEN-Zentrum Deutschland and the bestselling author Tanja Kinkel. Then the art action "Book Burning 4.0" with artist Winfried Muthesius and us, in cooperation with the City of Frankfurt at the Römer! (see below)
Tomorrow afternoon we will continue to work on our texts and on the moderation.....We will present texts* that we have worked out in the context of pics4peace:
About the book burning back then in Frankfurt. About the people affected. About how people were disenfranchised, about racist, extremist and inhuman measures. How the word became a plaything of power and is becoming so again today.
We talk about the destruction and manipulation of truths and news yesterday and today.
And, this is not easy to bring to the point: we connect this with our proposals and demands.
It remains exciting until the end! Keep your fingers crossed for us!
