Poetry & Politics - Poetry Slam Workshop with Pauline Füg

Finally knowing how to write something for a poetry slam and then being able to participate in a really cool evening with professionals - these were the possibilities at the literature festival "Poetry & Politics" in Würzburg.

Pauline Füg, an experienced slam poet, coached the participants, who ranged in age from 12 to 25. Those who wanted to were allowed to present their contribution to a large audience the next evening in the Posthallen together with professionals.

5 of the 13 workshop participants had the courage to do so:

Andreas spoke about hope, passion, responsibility - what he was missing.
Leonie pleaded for a better world in which all -isms become redundant.
Raphael demanded respect, which is expressed in German "Siezen".
Selina acted as a poet in the German Bundestag.
And Victoria wondered how one says it best when one is queer.

Thanks to Daniel, we now have 6 short videos documenting the workshop and the participants` great work. We've uploaded everything to our YouTube channel and plan to release the videos successively as a premiere. Tomorrow the first starts! :)
