On the way to Mannheim, reading the Süddeutsche Zeitung in the train: What a surprise!

In the Bavaria section I discovered a great article about the young adults who are involved in pics4peace with their contributions, in workshops and in art actions, e.g. with the Berlin artist Winfried Muthesius.

The author of the article, Olaf Przybilla, had interviewed some of the pics4peace participants and impressively presented their personal stories. But also what drives them and why for them the artistic form of expression is the right one to bring their concerns to the point. Images and emotions played a major role in this.

Our young creative fighters against extremism, for democracy, felt this time from a new side how their commitment is recognized. That is motivating!
